About Monument: We’re the only challenger bank in the UK, and globally, building a financial brand for the mass affluent. An incredibly valuable community, underserved by traditional banking for far too long. We exist to make managing wealth simpler, smarter and more human. And we provide a service experience that leaves clients in no doubt that we treat their wealth with the same care, dedication, and thoughtfulness as if it were our own.
The Opportunity: You’ll own and evolve Monument’s savings proposition, shaping how mass affluent clients grow and manage their wealth through simple, compelling and high-performing products. You’ll define product strategy, prioritise delivery and work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Operations, Risk and Commercial teams to build scalable savings products that deliver both client value and commercial impact. Operating in a fast-moving, regulated environment, you’ll balance innovation with discipline, ensuring everything we build meets FCA requirements while continuing to raise the bar on client experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the savings product roadmap. Define and deliver priorities aligned to client needs, commercial performance and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver product outcomes. Work cross-functionally to launch and iterate on savings features, journeys and propositions.
- Drive measurable impact. Improve key metrics including onboarding, engagement, client volumes and balances.
- Use data to inform decisions. Analyse product performance and translate insight into clear actions and prioritisation.
- Collaborate across teams. Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Commercial stakeholders.
- Ensure regulatory alignment. Deliver products in line with FCA, BCOBs, ISA and consumer duty requirements.
- Optimise client experience. Continuously improve journeys across onboarding, servicing and product engagement.
- Balance speed and control. Deliver innovation while maintaining risk awareness and operational stability.
- Influence product strategy. Contribute to wider proposition development and long-term product direction.
The Mindset:
- Bias to Action. You prioritise delivery and make progress visible through shipped product.
- Radical Ownership. You take full accountability for outcomes, from idea through to measurable impact.
- Challenge with Intent. You question assumptions and push for better product decisions that improve outcomes.
- Intellectual Humility. You use data and feedback to guide decisions and refine direction.
- Cross-Discipline Empathy. You collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Risk and Commercial teams.
What You Bring:
- Strong product management experience within banking, fintech or regulated financial services.
- Experience working on savings, deposits or closely related financial products.
- Proven ability to define and deliver product roadmaps aligned to commercial and customer outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management across Product, Engineering, Risk and Commercial teams.
- Data-led decision making with experience using metrics to drive product improvements.
- Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements, including FCA, BCOBs, ISAs and consumer duty.
- Experience working in Agile product teams with Engineering and Design.
- A commercially minded approach, balancing client experience, risk and business performance.
Apply Because You Want To:
- Own and shape a core revenue-generating product within a scaling challenger bank.
- Have direct impact on how clients grow and manage their wealth.
- Operate in a high-visibility role with real accountability for outcomes.
- Balance innovation with regulatory complexity in a meaningful product role.
- Work in a collaborative, delivery-focused environment with ambitious teams.
- Influence product strategy and help shape the next stage of Monument’s growth.
Our Values: At Monument, our values shape how we make decisions, how we treat each other when things get hard, and how we show up for clients who expect more than standard banking. We set ambitious goals and hold ourselves to them, not because it looks good, but because our clients' outcomes depend on it. When something isn't working, we say so early, learn from it, and move. We don't wait for perfect conditions, and we don't protect egos over progress. We work as a genuine team, which means real collaboration, honest conversations when we disagree, and shared accountability when things go wrong. We know better decisions come from different perspectives, so we actively value the range of experiences and backgrounds our people bring. We're always asking whether there's a smarter way to do what we do, not for the sake of change, but because standing still isn't an option in the market we're in. If that sounds like how you like to work, we'd like to hear from you.
