Join our team as an Execution Office Strategy, Planning and Execution Officer at Barclays. In this role you will provide independent, balanced advice and guidance to senior stakeholders, supporting problem identification, solution development, and effective decision‐making. You will also be responsible for producing high‐quality Board and ELT materials.

Location: London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice to Group Executives to support decision‐making for business challenges and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic advisory initiatives to grow and optimise the bank's operations through market research and analysis.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholder groups to identify appropriate strategic direction to meet the needs of Barclays clients and investors.
  • Develop financial models to support strategic recommendations and transactions, performing financial data analysis and considering the impact of transactions.
  • Manage transactions, negotiations, transaction structure development and post‐transaction integration.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain client relationships and develop new relationships to identify opportunities.
  • Identify industry trends, maintain peer benchmarking, and stay current on developments related to strategic advisory services by attending conferences, participating in training and conducting market research.
