We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Delivery Operations Lead to join our Shared Services department. In this critical role, you will act as a process improvement champion, using a strong systems-thinking approach to analyze how we deliver our services. Your mission is to visualize and optimize flow, identify constraints, and find opportunities to enhance productivity while minimizing non-value-added activities—all so our products reach the market sooner.
What sets this role apart is that you aren’t just a traditional lead; you are a “quantitative super-user”. You will dive deep into metrics, administer tools, and automate workflows to ensure data is the source of truth for leadership. Using Lean and Agile principles, you’ll be a key contributor to change, using data to highlight constraints and implementing approved optimizations across the department.
As One Of Our Delivery Operations Leads, You’ll:
- Analyze end-to-end business processes to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to identify constraints and support the implementation of solutions.
- Develop and maintain flow of work maps to clearly communicate how work flows and highlight blockers.
- Measure and analyze flow metrics, such as throughput, cycle time, and flow efficiency, to provide recommendations that inform decision-making.
- Conduct deep root cause analysis on workflow impediments to feed insights and potential solutions back to leadership.
- Leverage and administer a suite of tools, including Jira, Looker, Flow, and Miro, to support your analysis and automate workflows.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- A Process Expert: You have proven proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and the Theory of Constraints, and you are ideally Six Sigma certified.
- Technically Grounded: You have a minimum of two years’ experience as a technical data or software engineer.
- Data-Driven: You have strong analytical skills and experience using data visualization and statistical analysis to generate actionable insights.
- An Exceptional Communicator: You can articulate complex ideas in simple terms and build strong relationships through clear, courageous communication.
- A Natural Collaborator: You excel at working with cross-functional teams and can influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.
- A Change Agent: You have a strong grasp of change management principles and a passion for guiding others through process evolution.
We know it’s tough, but please try to avoid the confidence gap. You don’t have to match all the bullet points above to be considered for this role. We encourage people of all different backgrounds and identities to apply. We are committed to maintaining an inclusive, supportive place for you to be you and do your very best work.
Ready to engineer the future of delivery? If you’re the kind of person who sees a complex system and immediately starts thinking about how to automate, optimize, and accelerate it, we want to hear from you. This isn’t just about managing a process; it’s about influencing and engineering the way we work. You’ll have the autonomy to leverage a high-end tech stack—from Jira to Flow, Looker and Snowflake, along with the latest AI tools—to turn raw data into a competitive advantage. If you’re ready to apply your technical mindset to global delivery operations and make a visible impact on our time-to-market, apply today and help us build a more efficient Simply Business.
