As a Category Management Consulting Manager, it’s your responsibility to translate the company’s propositions on paper into reality for our clients, demonstrating competency in deploying capabilities seamlessly into retailers’ existing or to‑be working practices and enabling them to better utilize data for the benefit of their customers and their short‑ and long‑term commercial outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
- Business Discovery work – carrying out interviews to understand the maturity of a client’s CatMan capability, comparing it to global best practices, and scoping recommendations and a roadmap to grow maturity.
- Understand the client’s current category management processes, and define the to‑be process for embedding our tools and services alongside retailer ways of working.
- Work alongside a market team and ADS resource to collaboratively scope, define, create and deliver recommendations and services to the client, supporting and leading where necessary.
- Lending on the wider community to be the conduit of best practices and thought leadership.
- Following the completion of the project, build compelling Category Management case studies based on the value we’ve added for the client.
