Reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, our Social Media Lead is an exciting role within our Social Media team. You’ll lead the day-to-day paid social strategy, planning and performance across Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, while acting as a key support to the Senior Social Media Manager in overseeing organic social output, creative planning and wider social integration. This role will help connect paid, organic and influencer activity into one joined-up social approach, driving brand awareness, consideration, engagement, bookings and long-term value.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Paid Social Strategy & Media Planning: Lead the day-to-day paid social strategy across campaigns, partnerships and always-on activity, planning activity across key platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit and Snapchat etc.
- Campaign Delivery & Budget Management: Lead the setup, delivery and optimisation of paid social campaigns, while owning budget tracking, pacing and spend visibility across the wider social team to support strong financial management and joined-up planning.
- Performance, Testing & Reporting: Track campaign performance against agreed KPIs, compile performance updates, analyse campaign data and lead testing plans to identify learnings and improve paid social performance.
- Organic Social & Creative Integration: Support the team with social planning and creative development, helping ensure organic, paid and influencer activity is joined up and content is platform-native and optimised for performance.
- Partner Management & Team Leadership: Build strong relationships with media owners and platform partners ranging from Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat and Smartly, while line managing agreed team members and supporting paid media capability across the wider team.
What You’ll Have
- Paid and Organic Social Experience: Proven experience planning, implementing and optimising paid and organic social campaigns across key platforms.
- Media Planning Proficiency: Skilled in using digital and social platforms, ad managers and reporting tools to manage media campaigns.
- Performance Focus: Strong understanding of campaign optimisation, testing, reporting and using data to inform recommendations.
- Budget Management: Experience managing paid social budgets and tracking spend against campaign objectives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder and partner management experience.
- Self-Starter: Able to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Desirable Skills: Experience working with creators, influencers, paid partnership ads, Sprinklr, CreatorIQ or Smartly, and knowledge of the travel industry.
