We are seeking an experienced AI and Data Strategy Senior Consultant to help shape and deliver enterprise‑wide AI transformation initiatives for clients across the infrastructure industry. This role requires a strategic business technologist who can operate as part of a team to translate AI, data and automation capabilities into tangible business value while designing the organisational frameworks needed to become an AI‑first enterprise.
Client Impact
- Help define comprehensive AI, data and automation strategies tailored to client organisations across consumer products, retail, health, energy and life sciences sectors.
- Support in‑depth analysis of industry‑specific value chain and identify a portfolio of high‑impact AI, data and automation use cases to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency and competitive differentiation.
- Help assess organisational AI and data landscape maturity and create tailored roadmaps for transformation in areas such as operating models, organisational structure and capabilities required to deliver the strategy.
- Contribute to the development of high‑level business and technology architectures and operating models that enable scalable AI deployment (encompassing both data and automation).
- Support project leadership in cross‑functional workshops and design sessions with senior stakeholders as they seek to align diverse stakeholder groups around a unified AI vision.
- Help create content to articulate complex AI/agentic concepts and recommendations to senior leadership audiences.
- Conduct analysis that inputs to the prioritisation of AI initiatives based on strategic value, feasibility and organisational readiness.
- Contribute to solution development of high‑impact bid responses and proposals for AI‑led transformation.
Essential Qualifications
- STEM degree or an equivalent certification in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
Essential Criteria
- Experience contributing to enterprise‑level AI strategies for complex or multinational organisations.
- Familiarity with the design of operating models and organisational structures for data and AI functions.
- Familiarity and understanding of AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, predictive analytics, NLP, data and intelligent automation.
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, model risk management and regulatory requirements.
Soft Skills
- Communication, storytelling and presentation skills.
- Experience of facilitation and workshop design capabilities including the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience of interacting and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (data scientists, engineers, business strategists).
- Continuous learning mindset to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving AI landscape and deployment strategies.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language and explain how they drive business value.
Preferred Criteria
- Familiarity with modern data governance frameworks and architectures, cloud platforms and AI infrastructure including DAMA.
- Exposure to at least one of the following domains or sectors: Infrastructure, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, Programme.
