GSRS Intelligence team informs business decisions with trusted security risk analysis to protect Alphabet's people, property, and ideas.

In this role, you will collect, analyze, and disseminate accurate and timely global business intelligence to support action plans based on impact, credibility, and likelihood.

You will lead a team of analysts charged with helping us continually identify, evaluate and monitor local, country, and regional risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

The ideal leader for this team will not only possess deep traditional intelligence expertise but will also understand how to strategically integrate modern AI-driven tools, machine learning applications, and advanced data analytics into the intelligence cycle to scale capabilities, optimize monitoring, and improve forecasting.

From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google's Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team.

As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process.

You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience analyzing risk, authoring reports, and conducting briefings that provide stakeholders with proactive, actionable insight about security concerns.
  • 5 years of experience in a corporate, government, nonprofit, or academic environment, working in support of planning processes.
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, and leveraging AI tools, large language models (LLMs), machine learning platforms, or advanced natural language processing (NLP) to enhance intelligence workflows and analysis.
  • Experience managing teams, defining goals, owning budgets, and creating operations strategies.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing large scale projects from ideation to implementation.
  • Deep cultural, geopolitical, and operational expertise in EMEA, with strong knowledge of key stakeholders (e. g., governments, NGOs, and interest groups) where Google operates.
  • Ability to leverage key stakeholder relationships to drive improvements to security intelligence processes.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and draw solutions from data, as it relates intelligence and risk.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate accurate and timely global business intelligence to support action plans based on impact, credibility, and likelihood.

Assess risk based on ongoing or predicted events using risk analytic methodologies and structured analytic techniques.

  • Oversee the adoption and integration of AI-powered intelligence tools and advanced analytics to optimize risk identification, open-source intelligence (OSINT) gathering, and trend analysis.
  • Lead analytic assessments about potential operational and strategic threats or risks to Google and disseminate to appropriate stakeholders to support their decision-making.
  • Coordinate counterparts and associated stakeholders to make intelligence-based recommendations on mitigating risk.
  • Work closely with the executive GSRS leader in the country, help conceptualize and drive an analytic program focused on regional challenges, threats, and opportunities for Google and our mission.
