Role Overview: Senior Technical Business Analyst within Financial Crime. Responsible for collaborating with product owners and multidisciplinary technical teams, drawing on deep knowledge of the bank’s technologies to bring the product roadmap vision to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision of subject matter expertise to support collaboration between product owners and the technical side of product development.
  • Support the development and implementation of product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with stakeholders and the development team.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well-defined, measurable, and secure.
  • Develop and implement assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.
  • Monitor product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meet banks performance standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge and experience in data modelling, data analysis & ETL/Data engineering, and independent SQL writing for analysis.
  • Financial domain experience, particularly in Financial Crime, is an added advantage.
  • Requirements analysis and technical solutioning skills.

Additional Valued Skills:

  • Experience with Agile workstreams, JIRA boards and scrum calls.
  • Knowledge of Camunda or equivalent workflow tools.
  • Ability to drive and manage stakeholder calls and expectations.
