Location: Onsite in Client's Data Centre.

Working Hours: 0800 to 1600 Monday to Friday.

Availability: Ability to work on-call for 24/7 reliability.

Security Clearance: UK nationals only for SC clearance.

Primary Objective: Ensures the 24/7 reliability, security, and performance of physical and virtual infrastructure. Manage hardware installation, monitor electrical/cooling systems, perform troubleshooting, and coordinate maintenance, acting as first responders to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking devices, and storage equipment.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor environmental controls (HVAC, temperature, humidity) and power systems (generators, UPS) to ensure optimal operating conditions.
  • Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Act as first responder to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and network issues.
  • Maintenance & Security: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on infrastructure, and adhere to physical security protocols.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation, including inventory records, change management logs, and incident reports.
  • 24/7 Reliability: Ensure continuous uptime and performance of physical and virtual infrastructure.
  • Electrical/Cooling Systems: Monitor and manage electrical systems (generators, UPS) and cooling systems (HVAC).

Required Skills And Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in data center operations or related IT infrastructure roles.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of servers, structured cabling, data center environmental systems (power/cooling), and network infrastructure.
  • Certifications (Optional): CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Network+, or CCNA.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, ability to work on-call, and excellent team collaboration.

Work Location: Must work onsite in Client's Data Centre - West London area.

Working Hours: 0800 to 1600 Monday to Friday (with on-call availability for 24/7 support).

Security Clearance: UK nationals only for SC clearance (British passport, no dual nationality, 5 years continuous UK residency).
