We believe in a people‑first culture, where your ideas are valued, your growth is supported, and your contributions truly make a difference. Here, you’ll be part of a diverse, ambitious team that celebrates creativity and collaboration.

Role Overview: Kainos’ AI Business Solutions Practice helps organisations transform how they operate using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Microsoft’s AI platform, with Copilot, Copilot Studio and Azure AI. As the practice enters its next phase of growth, AI‑first delivery is becoming foundational to how solutions are designed, delivered and scaled. We are appointing a CTO (AI Business Solutions) to lead the technology and AI direction of the practice.

This is a senior technology leadership role within AI Business Solutions. You will own and evolve the technical strategy across Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Microsoft AI, ensuring our solutions are secure, scalable and commercially differentiated. You will act as a senior technology voice with customers, Microsoft and partners, translating Microsoft’s AI roadmap into repeatable, outcome‑led offerings that drive growth.

Key Responsibilities Of The CTO, AI Business Solutions Are:

  • Technology & AI Strategy: Own and evolve the technology and AI strategy for the AI Business Solutions practice, spanning Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot, Copilot Studio and Azure AI. Define the long‑term technology roadmap for the practice, ensuring sustained relevance across industry priorities and Microsoft’s evolving AI platform.
  • Market, Customer & Microsoft Leadership: Act as a senior adviser to executive customers on AI‑enabled Business Applications transformation. Engage at C‑suite level to shape technology‑led transformation agendas and position Kainos as a strategic Microsoft partner.
  • Technical Assurance & Practice Governance: Provide technology leadership across strategically important bids and flagship pursuits. Own and evolve technical governance across the practice, including architectural review processes, quality gates and engineering standards.
  • Innovation, IP & Differentiation: Lead the practice’s AI‑first narrative, ensuring Copilot and agent‑based capabilities are embedded into repeatable, product‑like offerings. Partner with practice leadership to embed IP and accelerator‑led approaches into standard offerings.
  • Technical Leadership & Capability: Lead and develop the senior technical leadership community across the practice. Define capability strategy across Dynamics, Power Platform and AI‑aligned skills.

What we’re looking for:

  • Significant experience operating in a senior technology leadership or CTO‑level role within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, and clear insight into how Copilot, Copilot Studio and Azure AI extend and transform those platforms.
  • Experience shaping AI‑enabled solutions beyond proof of concept, with a focus on scale, governance and commercial viability.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing revenue growth through executive engagement, solution strategy or market‑facing technology leadership.
  • The ability to connect Microsoft AI capability to business value, growth and differentiation, not just technical possibility.

How to prepare for a job interview at Limelight Health

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Limelight Health uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
