Location: London. Hybrid role, happy to talk flexible working. Time Type: Full time. Worker Type: Employee. We’re looking for a Compliance Analyst (Privacy) to join our well‑established and successful Data Protection team. This is a full‑time, permanent role offering flexibility in ways of working and exposure to international operations across Europe. Reporting to the Data Protection Officer, this role provides the opportunity to build hands‑on experience in privacy compliance within a regulated insurance environment, while working closely with Legal, Cyber and wider business teams. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Your new role

  • Support the delivery of the Data Protection team’s objectives, providing practical privacy advice and helping maintain effective privacy frameworks across European Operations.
  • Support the interpretation and application of privacy laws and regulatory requirements across European Operations.
  • Monitor ongoing compliance with EO country and Lloyd’s privacy requirements.
  • Assist with the maintenance of privacy risk controls, governance documentation and records.
  • Support the upkeep of Article 30 Records of Processing Activities.
  • Help manage data subject rights requests in line with statutory timeframes.
  • Support Data Privacy Impact Assessments and other inbound privacy‑related requests.
  • Assist with privacy reporting, including contributions to management, board and committee packs.
  • Help ensure privacy notices, cookie banners and intranet content remain accurate and up to date.

About You

  • Experience in a privacy, compliance or risk role within a regulated organisation.
  • Exposure to GDPR and data protection regulations.
  • Background or experience within commercial insurance or financial services is highly desirable.
  • An interest in emerging technologies, including the use of AI in business processes.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Ability to manage routine and administrative privacy activities effectively.
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
