The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional claims service to customers by managing complex claims effectively. This includes assessing policy coverage, investigating, evaluating, and negotiating claims, as well as collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders while offering technical support.
Claims Adjuster – International Casualty
London/Hybrid

This is a rare opportunity to join our Complex International Casualty team in London as a Claims Adjuster. In this role, you will manage a complex and diverse global portfolio encompassing a variety of claims including construction recall, environments and general liability.
Your New Role
- Support the implementation of the Claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets
- Investigate and resolve complex Claims of a specialist nature to provide excellent Claims handling service with minimal leakage
- Identify and investigate coverage issues to ensure that the company’s liability is in line with its contractual commitments
- Identify subrogation, contribution and other recovery issues and ensure that these are successfully pursued where appropriate
- Manage disputed Claims and other material Claims issues to resolve and settle claims on an economic basis
- Support the development of relationships with internal and external customers to enable the Claims function to fully support their needs
- Support the development of relationships with the Underwriters to enable the Claims function to support the needs of other areas within the business
About You
- Experience in handling International Casualty claims, ideally with experience in US Casualty.
- Ability to manage time effectively whilst having strong planning and organisational capabilities
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in building and maintaining relationships with strong influencing skills
