hackajob is collaborating with OneAdvanced to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role. We’re looking for an L&D Specialist who wants to do more than roll out training. This is a role for someone who can use data to spot skill gaps, design smart solutions, and influence how learning drives real business impact. You’ll play a key role in moving away from traditional approaches and bringing innovation, creativity, and fresh thinking into how we develop our people.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Use Skills Universe data to identify skill gaps and shape development priorities
  • Design and deliver modern, high‑impact learning solutions (digital, virtual & in‑person)
  • Lead on data‑driven decision‑making to ensure learning delivers measurable impact
  • Manage and evolve our apprenticeship programme
  • Partner with stakeholders to proactively influence learning strategy, not just execute requests
  • Explore and implement innovative tools and technologies (e.g. AI learning platforms)
  • Proven experience in L&D design and delivery across multiple formats
  • A data‑driven mindset, confident using insights to shape decisions
  • Experience managing apprenticeships or professional development programmes
  • Ability to challenge, influence and partner with stakeholders
  • Someone who brings new ideas, not just maintains the status quo
  • Comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Interest or experience in AI within learning
