The Limelight is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team.

As a busy live music and entertainment venue in the heart of Belfast, we are looking for someone with a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills and the confidence to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the daily running of our bars, ensuring high standards of service, supporting team members and helping deliver an excellent experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support bar staff throughout service.

• Lead, motivate and organise the team to ensure smooth bar operations.

• Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times.

• Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the bar.

• Monitor stock levels and minimise wastage.

• Ensure all bar areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.

• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.

• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety requirements and company procedures.

• Support the training and development of new and existing team members.

• Work alongside management to maintain operational standards and achieve business objectives.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or a busy bar environment.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy, high-pressure environment.

• A professional and approachable attitude.

• Good knowledge of bar operations and customer service.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and late-night shifts.
