We are looking for a Senior Regional Lead, Government Relations to help deliver Lime’s policy and public affairs work in London – a key global market. This role will report to the Regional Head, Government Relations, UKI, and will work within the London and Greater UK and Ireland Government Relations Teams. This is a hybrid position with a requirement for candidates to reside in London to maintain effective collaboration across teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Building an in-depth understanding of Lime’s products and operations, as well as its operating environment, including the wider policy and regulatory landscape.
  • Building and maintaining exceptional relationships with London boroughs, Transport for London, and London City Hall.
  • Working closely with Lime’s Operations team to plan and execute local campaigns to deliver positive business outcomes for Lime.
  • Responding swiftly and effectively to any issues or incidents that are flagged to us by political stakeholders.
  • Helping Lime plan and prepare for policy and regulatory changes, including the introduction of city-wide regulations in London and other strategic authorities.
  • Building and managing relationships with wider transport partners and third sector stakeholders to ensure Lime is a responsible partner.
  • Contributing to improving processes and ways of working as the company continues to grow.

About You:

  • 5+ years experience in public / government affairs, political campaigns, and / or business development/expansion in a government-related environment.
  • Experience designing and implementing public affairs strategies to deliver business goals.
  • Excellent internal and external communication and stakeholder relations skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally within a global business with remote working.
  • Experience of working in a highly operational environment and managing stakeholder concerns.
  • Interest in, and understanding of, data to improve processes and support continuous improvement.
  • Proactive and driven. Able to work independently and deliver accurate, high-quality outputs at speed.
  • Strong understanding of UK / London politics, policy, and regulation.
  • Passion for mobility / sustainability / active travel / new technologies.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel to meetings and leading political / officer visits within London.
