The Client Platform Engineering team manages the lifecycle, security, and overall management of all corporate IT endpoints, both physical and cloud-based. Our environment encompasses macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and AWS. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to pinpoint opportunities for boosting operational efficiency and security through effective endpoint management. Key responsibilities also include implementing Zero Touch Deployment processes, managing software patching for internal and third-party tools, and providing escalation support to the Service Desk.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in planning, deployment, and upkeep of our Mobile Device Management (MDM) infrastructure. They should be proactive, eager to tackle diverse challenges in our dynamic setting, and possess excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with stakeholders throughout the organization.
What you\βll do:
- Design, build, and automate enterprise software for deployment and package management within our MDM.
- Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot our management infrastructure, including MDM and Asset Management Tools.
- Collaborate with the security team to implement new technologies and enforce security policies.
- Build and maintain processes for testing, verification, and deployment of applications, operating systems, security measures, and patches.
- Optimize deployment and enhance security for our mobile endpoints.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure endpoint strategies support business objectives and user requirements.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving client platform issues
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, deployments, and troubleshooting
- Continuously observe endpoint health and performance, establishing real-time alerts and automated remediation processes.
About you:
- 3+ years experience with an enterprise MDM such as Workspace ONE, Jamf, or InTune
- 3+ years experience managing device enrollment program (DEP), volume purchasing program (VPP)
- 3+ years experience writing scripts (Bash, Python, AppleScript, Powershell, etc)
- Familiarity with using APIs for automation
- Understanding of endpoint security principles, including patch management, endpoint protection, and vulnerability remediation
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust or Beyond Corp
- Operate in an agile sprint cycle environment
- Customer-first mindset focused on seamless and efficient endpoint experiences.
