About the role

As Purchasing & Goods In Assistant, you will support all departments with the receiving and distribution of all stock and supplies across the hotel and spa.

Responsibilities

  • Quality and temperature checks of incoming stock.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding stock levels and discrepancies.
  • Loading/unloading of stock and supplies, ensuring all stock is stored correctly and safely.
  • Correct manual handling of all stock.
  • Strong knowledge of waste management, ensuring appropriate discarding or recycling of waste.
  • Ensure the stock barn is always maintained and is secure.
  • Work collaboratively with all staff, ensuring an efficient service for our guests.
  • Interact with guests as or when required.
  • Passion and determination to upskill, always having the willingness to learn.
  • Work in a manner which avoids obstructions, taking into consideration our guests and noise levels.
  • Ensure all workspaces are left clean and tidy.

About you

Driving licence essential; however no experience is required.

The ideal applicant will be well organised, enjoy being on their feet, in a hands‑on role and have the physicality to carry items of stock throughout the day.

In addition to holding a full driving licence to manoeuvre our on‑site vehicles.
