About the role
The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the housekeeping team, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards across the hotel.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing a proactive and hands‑on approach, supporting the housekeeping team from the front‑line to deliver high levels and standards of cleanliness.
- Maintaining a good understanding of hygiene legislation and best practice.
- Reporting to management regarding the preparation and cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas.
- Leading by example and guiding Room Attendants and Linen Porters in delivering friendly and efficient service.
- Supporting the Head and Assistant Head Housekeeper with stock control and ordering.
- Reporting any snags or required room maintenance and liaising with the maintenance team as needed.
About you
Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role is essential. The role is physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet throughout the shift, lift and manoeuvre furniture and heavy linens, and maintain a proactive and motivated attitude toward providing high standards of service.
