We are currently looking for a passionate Trainee Sommelier to join our Wine Team at our award-winning hotel, Lime Wood.

About the role
Responsibilities
- Working the restaurant floor, pouring wines, and providing recommendations as/when capable.
- Keep and up to date knowledge of our wine list.
- Develop the confidence to up sale and pair wines with our restaurant dishes.
- Assist with maintaining the cellar, stock management and supplier relationships.
- Collaboratively work with our Food & Beverage team in delivering a well-rounded food & beverage service to our guests.
- Have a genuine passion towards wines.
- Seek to upskill and enrol in recognised qualifications.
- Ensure food handling and safety measures are met and compliant.
Previous experience within a food & beverage service role is beneficial. Completion of recognised study in wine and spirits is advantageous. In turn we will provide you with any further qualifications that might be required for your own personal development.
