Hours: 45 over 4 days

We are currently looking for an experienced and focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to work alongside our Food & Beverage Manager to drive the daily operations of Hartnett Holder & Co, our restaurant within the award-winning five-star Lime Wood Hotel. Hartnett Holder & Co is a relaxed and comfortable restaurant – full of character and relaxed in style. Angela Hartnett and Lime Wood’s Luke Holder, with their team, create locally sourced Italian dishes with a respectful nod to the seasons. On occasion, you may also be required to support the service within our Courtyard Bar – a more casual dining offering, plus our private dining spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining high standards of customer service within our main restaurant – Hartnett Holder & Co.
  • Work closely with our Restaurant General Manager to drive standards across the restaurant.
  • Ensure all food handling and safety measures are met and compliant.
  • Present on the floor, working closely with the team, leading from the front.
  • Support all restaurant staff with their training & development.
  • Step up in the Restaurant General Manager's absence, overseeing staff rotation and day to day operations.
  • Deal with and solve complaints.
  • Develop and build excellent relationships with suppliers, managing stock, order, and budgeting.
  • Support with staffing requirements, including external recruitment.

Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, within a similar environment essential. We are ideally seeking someone who is a people-focused, natural leader. A genuine passion for providing a detailed and memorable service to guests is a must.
