We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Chef at C.D.P or Senior C.D.P level with a passion for preparing exemplary 5* dishes — using the very best ingredients and who would relish the opportunity to work alongside our young team of chefs and not only help in their development, but also in the development of our pastry offering — from breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. We are looking to take our sweet repertoire to new levels.
Lime Wood is a 33-bedroom, 5 red star, boutique country house set in the heart of the New Forest National Park. It is laid-back luxury at its best, with Chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder at the helm of the kitchen and a wellness spa within the grounds. This is a key role within our dynamic and passionate kitchen brigade where work life balance is at the heart of what we do.

About the role:
Working with a team of 5, you will be playing a vital role with the preparation and execution of all pastry and desserts available to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and delivering Lunch / Afternoon Tea and Dinner services to a high standard, liaising with the Sous & Head Chef ensuring an efficient service.
- Preparation of ingredients and maintaining all workspaces, ensuring compliant handling of food and equipment.
- Follow recipes and assist with the development of new menu offerings. Be creative and express ideas.
- Monitor the section's stock levels, ensuring all ingredients and equipment required are readily available.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, including excellent knowledge of food handling and hygiene.
About you:
Experience as a chef (at least Chef de Partie level) at a similar establishment (or establishments with calibre) and with a good command of all things pastry is essential, along with the drive and confidence to work as part of a fast and efficient team. A passion to work with quality ingredients and to always deliver on guest expectation at a 5* level is essential.
