We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our nurse consulting team at Lime Tree Vets. This role is ideal for an RVN who loves running consultations and wants to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners. You’ll be at the heart of developing our nursing consultation services, from preventative healthcare and chronic illness support to weight management, flea and worm clinics, and more.

Your role

As a Consulting Nurse, you will:

  • Run dedicated nurse clinics, building strong relationships with clients and their pets
  • Deliver preventative healthcare, post-op checks, and chronic illness support
  • Provide advice on nutrition, weight management, flea and worm treatments
  • Innovate and introduce new ideas to enhance our nursing consultation services
  • Support and mentor fellow nurses, sharing your knowledge and experience

About Lime Tree Vets

We are a first opinion and referral practice in the heart of Staffordshire, proudly accredited as an ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic. Our branch surgery is now a fully cat-only clinic, and we work with Vets Now Emergency to provide 24-hour care for our inpatients.

Our hospital is equipped with:

  • Species-specific wards and a dedicated isolation ward
  • Three theatres and a dental suite with digital X-ray
  • High-definition ultrasound, endoscopes, CT, K-laser therapy, chemotherapy room
  • A full suite of in-house laboratory equipment

What we’re looking for

We want a dynamic, proactive RVN who is motivated by consultations and delivering excellent patient and client care. Previous consultation experience is desirable, but full training and support will be provided for the right candidate. You should be keen to develop your skills, innovate, and grow within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Flexible working to suit your lifestyle

We understand the importance of work-life balance. This role is full-time (40 hours/week across 4-5 days) with a 1 in 5 Saturday morning rota. Part-time or compressed hours can be considered for the right candidate.
