Lime Talent are partnering with a Leading Drinks Business in North London on a Technologist role. In this position, you will ensure that Product Quality is maintained across all categories whilst working closely with suppliers, partners and internal sales, buying & supply chain teams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure products meet safety, legal, and ethical sourcing standards, adhering to specifications and company policies.
  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert, meeting technical KPIs and assisting in the development of policies and procedures.
  • Maintain necessary due diligence documents and records, facilitating certification compliance against BRCGS Agents & Brokers standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison with customers' technical teams, managing portals and systems effectively.
  • Implement cost-effective measures and risk mitigation strategies across the portfolio and supply chain, maintaining consistency, legality, and quality.
  • Handle and mitigate customer complaints, incidents, and regulatory challenges.
  • Collaborate with commercial and sales teams to develop sourcing strategies, identifying and cultivating relationships with top suppliers.
  • Ensure suppliers undergo technical and ethical audits as required, driving improvement through action plans.
  • Cultivate and enhance long-term partnerships with suppliers, focusing on process improvement, quality enhancement, and value generation.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in food science or a related field.
  • HACCP Level 2 certification.
  • Internal Auditing experience.
  • Previous experience in a Food Technical role.
  • Familiarity with BRC Global Standards.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and internet usage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
