The Company
An exciting opportunity has opened up to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing food & drink brands as a Senior National Account Manager. This pioneering brand has achieved exceptional growth in recent years, rapidly scaling from DTC success to nationwide retail listings across major grocery and high street accounts.
Now, the focus is turning to wholesale and out-of-home (OOH) channels—areas rich with untapped potential—and we’re looking for a commercially minded operator to lead that charge.
The Role
This isn’t a traditional account management role focused only on maintaining existing relationships. It’s a commercial growth role for someone who wants to build and own a channel strategy, grow a national network, and creatively expand into new sectors. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the playbook, define best practices, and make a real impact within a high-trust, high-performance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own the wholesale growth strategy—from route-to-market planning to regional expansion
- Develop and support a national distributor network, ensuring strong partnerships and pull-through
- Train, inspire, and enable distributor sales teams with effective trade marketing and promotional activity
- Identify and nurture key retailer and OOH opportunities—from health stores to cafés, gyms, and professional kitchens
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment and smart investment
- Coach and mentor junior team members as the channel scales
- Track performance, analyse results, and guide commercial decisions
What We’re Looking For
- Proven wholesale or OOH experience within food & drink, FMCG, or similar sectors
- Strong track record managing and growing accounts, winning new business, and driving revenue
- Commercial acumen—confident with pricing, forecasting, and negotiation
- Excellent communicator who builds trust with partners and internal teams
- A creative problem-solver who enjoys autonomy and finding new routes to market
- Collaborative, grounded, and results-driven approach
Bonus points for experience in health & wellness, ambient products, or fast-growth challenger brands.
