Our client is a global leader in consulting services, partnering with clients across various industries to drive sustainable business transformations and deliver measurable results. Role Overview: As a Management Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with clients in the manufacturing industry to drive Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement initiatives. You will work closely with senior executives and operational teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop and implement strategic solutions, and ensure lasting performance enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with manufacturing clients to assess current operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop tailored improvement plans.
- Lead and facilitate Operational Excellence and CI projects, utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM.
- Conduct detailed analyses of manufacturing processes, data, and performance metrics to uncover root causes of issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing productivity, reducing waste, and enhancing quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of improvement plans.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to client teams on CI methodologies and best practices.
- Monitor and measure the impact of implemented solutions, ensuring sustainable performance gains.
- Develop and present comprehensive reports and presentations to clients, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and other CI methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in training and coaching teams on CI practices and principles.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Willingness to travel as required to client sites.
