As National Account Manager, you'll take ownership of key national retail accounts, driving sales growth, profitability, and customer partnerships across the grocery channel. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Management
- Build and develop strategic relationships with national retail customers
- Lead Joint Business Planning activity
- Deliver engaging customer reviews and commercial proposals
- Develop wider stakeholder relationships across customer teams
- Commercial Delivery
- Full P&L responsibility across your accounts
- Deliver sales, volume and margin targets
- Manage promotional and investment budgets to maximise ROI
- Identify growth opportunities and proactively manage risks
- Forecasting & Planning
- Deliver accurate sales forecasting and reporting
- Support internal S&OP processes
- Work cross-functionally to maintain excellent availability and forecast accuracy
- Insight & Category
- Use category and shopper insights to create compelling customer stories
- Monitor market trends, pricing and promotional activity
- Recommend opportunities across range, pricing and execution
- Cross Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with marketing, finance, supply chain and operations teams
- Help improve processes and ways of working as the business continues to scale
About You
- Previous FMCG account management experience, ideally within branded grocery
- Experience managing major retail accounts
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
- Confident using data and insights to influence decisions
- Proactive, adaptable and growth-oriented mindset
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced SME environment
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
