We are working with a high-quality branded FMCG business that has built a strong international presence and is now doubling down on European grocery growth. They are looking to hire an International Sales Manager with a focus on Europe. You will lead new customer acquisition while developing a focused portfolio of existing distributor and retail relationships. This is a genuinely impactful commercial role with autonomy, accountability, and clear scope to influence international growth.
The opportunity: This role is weighted towards new business, particularly within grocery, while continuing to own and scale established accounts across Europe.
- Win new grocery retail customers across European markets
- Own the full sales cycle from introduction through to onboarding
- Manage and develop distributor and retail relationships
- Lead commercial negotiations across pricing, terms, promotions and listings
- Drive NPD launches and range optimisation
- Own P&L performance for your customer portfolio
This role would suit someone who:
- Has proven experience selling branded FMCG into European grocery retailers and distributors
- Has worked across multiple European markets
- Is comfortable owning distributor and retail relationships end-to-end
- Enjoys opening doors, building pipelines and closing deals
- Wants ownership, autonomy and accountability rather than a maintenance brief
- Additional European language skills are beneficial, but not essential.
