You’ll take ownership of the brand’s tone of voice, creating clear and distinctive messaging that brings its personality and products to life across every channel.
Working closely with the Creative, Marketing and e Commerce teams, you’ll combine strategic brand thinking with hands-on copywriting across websites, email, social media, campaigns and product launches.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and evolve the brand’s tone of voice and copywriting guidelines.
- Create a clear messaging framework across the wider brand and individual products.
- Write and improve website copy, including homepages, landing pages and product pages.
- Partner with designers to create compelling messaging for digital content and creative assets.
- Translate detailed product information into simple, engaging and commercially effective copy.
- Shape the tone and quality of customer communications across email and CRM.
- Develop copy for campaigns, product launches, social media and retail activity.
- Adapt messaging appropriately for different platforms while maintaining a consistent brand identity.
- Review copy from across the wider business and help raise the overall standard of communication.
This role would suit someone who
- Has at least four years’ experience in brand copywriting, either in-house or within a leading creative agency.
- Can demonstrate an excellent portfolio of consumer-facing brand work.
- Has written across digital, e Commerce, email, social media and integrated campaigns.
- Understands how to build a distinctive tone of voice rather than simply produce content.
- Can turn complex product information into clear, persuasive customer messaging.
- Combines strong conceptual thinking with excellent attention to detail.
- Is confident contributing ideas, offering a clear point of view and challenging generic copy.
- Enjoys moving between broader brand strategy and hands-on writing.
- Ideally has experience within consumer goods, food and drink, wellness, fitness or lifestyle brands.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an ambitious copywriter to help define the voice of a rapidly growing consumer brand and ensure it comes through consistently at every stage of the customer journey.
We are committed to creating diverse and inclusive workplaces, and we encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
We believe that a variety of viewpoints fosters innovation and strengthens teams.
