This is an opportunity to influence how millions of customers engage with a household retail brand - creating seamless experiences that connect commercial priorities with customer needs across an extensive store network. You’ll inherit a broad and varied remit, giving you the platform to drive innovation, challenge existing thinking and build marketing programmes that deliver measurable commercial results.

Where You’ll Add Value

Success in this role isn’t measured by the number of campaigns you deliver- it’s about the impact those campaigns have on the customer journey and the commercial performance of the business. You’ll be trusted to:

  • Create marketing strategies that influence purchasing behaviour.
  • Ensure stores are equipped with compelling, consistent customer communications.
  • Identify new opportunities to improve how customers discover, shop and engage with the brand.
  • Work collaboratively with commercial, retail and operational teams to maximise key trading moments.
  • Introduce new ideas that improve effectiveness while simplifying delivery.

You’ll also play a key role in developing future capabilities across shopper marketing, retail activation and customer engagement.

About You

You’re likely to be someone who enjoys operating where marketing meets commerce. You understand that great shopper marketing isn’t just about creative ideas - it’s about knowing what motivates customers, influencing behaviour and delivering tangible business outcomes. You’ll probably have built your career within retail or another customer-focused environment where pace, collaboration and commercial thinking are essential.

We’re particularly interested in leaders who have experience:

  • Developing shopper or retail marketing strategies across multiple locations.
  • Working closely with commercial or trading teams to deliver shared objectives.
  • Leading diverse teams through periods of change and growth.
  • Using customer insight and performance data to shape decision-making.
  • Influencing senior stakeholders and bringing different functions together.

We are committed to creating diverse and inclusive workplaces, and we encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
