Lime Talent is supporting an established, fast-growing business in the personal care category to hire a Head of Sales. This is a senior commercial role with full ownership of UK retail channels and a key voice on the leadership team.
The business is privately owned and well-positioned for further growth. They’ve built strong foundations across grocery and high street retail, and are now looking for a commercially minded Head of Sales to take their business to the next level.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and execute the UK retail sales strategy across grocery, high street, and other relevant accounts
- Develop strong commercial partnerships with key retailers, leading JBP negotiations and strategic planning
- Lead and manage a small but capable commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure plans are aligned and deliverable
- Use data and insight to identify new opportunities and optimise account performance
- Represent the brand externally in a professional and values-led way
Ideal candidate profile:
- Strong track record of success in UK retail sales within FMCG
- Previous experience managing high street and grocery customer relationships and leading negotiations
- Comfortable in a hands-on environment – you’ll need to be both strategic and operational
- Confident working closely with the SLT and contributing to wider business planning
- Ideally some category understanding of the personal care category
