We’re seeking a highly organised and technically strong Product Developer to oversee our clients product range during a maternity cover period. This role is centred on managing and improving existing products — including packaging updates, range extensions, compliance and quality assurance. There are no new launches planned. The focus is on execution, optimisation and ensuring everything runs smoothly and compliantly across markets.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and external partners to deliver product updates efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product & Packaging Management
    • Lead delivery of product updates, pack changes and range extensions
    • Manage timelines and internal processes to ensure on-time execution
    • Oversee packaging revisions, artwork updates and version control
    • Support cost optimisation and continuous product improvements
    • Ensure smooth transition of changes into Operations and Supply Chain
  • Quality, Technical & Compliance
    • Maintain regulatory compliance across multiple territories
    • Oversee labelling requirements, testing schedules and documentation
    • Manage product specifications, certifications and supplier standards
    • Support quality assurance processes and investigations where required
  • Project & Stakeholder Coordination
    • Own cross-functional project timelines
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers
    • Ensure clear communication between technical, operational and commercial stakeholders

About You

You’re detail-oriented, delivery-focused and comfortable owning technical governance and compliance. You have experience in product or technical roles within food or FMCG, understand existing product development processes, and can confidently manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.
