We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior National Account Manager to join this leading FMCG business. This role sits within the UKI commercial team and reports into a senior customer lead as part of the Retail Sales function.

You will be responsible for managing and growing a core grocery portfolio with a major UK retailer, owning a significant P&L and delivering sales, profit and share through strong customer partnerships and excellent execution:

  • Full P&L ownership for a key category within a major UK retailer, delivering top-line sales, share and profit growth.
  • Create and execute customer plans, leading joint business planning and translating strategy into clear priorities, actions and milestones.
  • Build long-term partnerships with external and internal stakeholders, influencing cross-functional teams to unlock business growth.
  • Lead sales pitches and negotiations across new products, concepts and commercial propositions.
  • Drive strong execution in-store and online (range, availability, distribution, secondary display and activation), working closely with supply, category, finance and field teams.
  • Improve forecasting efficiency and manage risks/opportunities, using sales data and market insight to provide accurate visibility and decisive actions.
  • Coach and develop one direct report, supporting their performance and development.

Experience in account management roles within UK&I retail, with a proven track record of delivering strong commercial results. Experience managing and coaching others, or strong evidence of leadership capability. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience influencing value-based outcomes. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
