We’re working with a fast scaling FMCG brand who are currently looking for an Inventory Planner to lead and develop inventory planning across all markets and sales channels. This role is central to maintaining strong product availability while carefully managing working capital as the business continues to scale rapidly across DTC, Amazon, retail, and TikTok.

You’ll take ownership of demand forecasting, inventory control, and production planning across the multiple international markets. Working closely with Product, Finance, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams, you’ll help support growth while ensuring inventory and cash are managed efficiently. This is a hands‑on, analytical role suited to someone with experience in beverage or FMCG who understands real‑world challenges such as lead times, MOQs, retail launches, and multi‑warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Own inventory levels across all channels, including DTC, Amazon, retail, and TikTok Shop. Manage stock movements across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring the right level of stock by SKU, channel, and region.
  • Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain demand forecasts by SKU, channel, and market, factoring in historical sales, new launches, promotions, seasonality, and retail expansion. Regularly review and adjust forecasts based on performance and updated commercial inputs.
  • Production & Supply Planning: Convert demand forecasts into production plans and purchase orders. Partner closely with product and supply teams to manage lead times, MOQs, and production schedules, supporting launches while balancing inventory risk and cash exposure.
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital: Work alongside Finance and Commercial teams to align inventory plans with cash flow requirements. Build inventory scenarios to support growth initiatives, retail rollouts, and promotions, while identifying ways to reduce excess working capital tied up in stock.
  • Reporting & Risk Management: Own inventory reporting and KPIs, including stock cover, weeks of supply, inventory turns, and expiry risk. Proactively identify potential stockouts, overstock risks, or supply constraints and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to ensure inventory plans support business priorities, launch timelines, and growth objectives across all regions.
About You
  • Experience in inventory planning, demand planning, or supply planning.
  • Background in beverage, FMCG, or consumer packaged goods.
  • Experience managing inventory across multiple channels, including DTC, Amazon, and retail.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
  • Commercially focused, with a solid understanding of cash flow and working capital.
  • Confident managing lead times, MOQs, and production constraints.
  • Experience working across multiple international regions, ideally the UK, US.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, scaling environment.
