Position: Growth Lead (Subscriptions)
Lime Talent is partnering with a fast-growing consumer goods business looking to appoint a Growth Lead focused on retention and subscriptions.
This is a newly created, commercially focused role responsible for growing the company's subscription customer base and recurring revenue.
The business sells its products through both direct-to-consumer and retail channels.
A key focus of this role will be developing ways to identify and engage customers who purchase through retail, bring them into the brand's ecosystem and convert them into long-term subscribers.
This role sits at the intersection of growth, subscriptions, customer experience and retention.
It would suit someone who enjoys understanding customer behavior, testing new ideas and finding commercially effective ways to turn an initial purchase into a valuable long-term relationship.
Key responsibilities
- Own and develop the subscription growth strategy across direct-to-consumer and retail customers.
- Create compelling reasons for retail customers to register their purchase and share their contact details.
- Build post-purchase journeys that introduce customers to the subscription offering and encourage conversion.
- Identify and remove barriers within the registration, onboarding and subscription journeys.
- Develop propositions, incentives and campaigns that increase subscription uptake.
- Analyse customer behavior to understand what drives registration, conversion, repeat purchases and churn.
- Build a structured test-and-learn programme across messaging, offers, channels and customer journeys.
- Work closely with e-commerce, CRM, retail, product and marketing teams to deliver growth initiatives.
- Ensure new product launches are incorporated into the subscription and recurring-revenue strategy.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer lifetime value and strengthen long-term loyalty.
- Report on performance and present commercially focused recommendations to senior leadership.
About you
- You have experience in a commercially focused growth, subscription, retention or customer lifecycle role.
- You have worked within a direct-to-consumer consumer goods business.
- You understand the commercial drivers behind subscription and repeat-purchase models.
- You have experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns as part of a broader growth strategy.
- You are comfortable analysing customer and commercial data to identify opportunities.
- You understand how incentives, onboarding journeys and customer propositions can influence behavior.
- You are proactive and enjoy taking ownership in a fast-paced, scaling business.
- You combine commercial thinking with creativity and a willingness to test new approaches.
- You can work from the company's London head office four days per week.
Experience converting retail customers into known digital customers would be particularly valuable, as would experience with subscription management, e-commerce and email marketing platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of an important growth area within an ambitious consumer goods business.
You'll have the autonomy to shape the subscription strategy, develop new customer journeys and make a measurable contribution to recurring revenue.
If you're excited by the challenge of turning product purchasers into engaged, long-term subscribers, we'd love to hear from you.
