The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This role will be responsible for supporting the AVP of Finance Platforms to deliver a successful Workday Finance transformation project. The role specifically encompasses oversight to all functional requirements, design specifications, testing and deployment from inception to completion of the project and requires a hybrid of business analyst and project management skills to be successful. You will work closely with other functional SMEs and technical integration resources from the 3rd party implementation team to deliver a comprehensive integration inventory for the Workday Release 2 target go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis
- Requirements capture and traceability matrix to solution
- Effective Liaison between business and technology and driving consensus where required on design logic, technical parameters, etc.
- Test Execution
- Support business test scenario creation and execution as needed
- Document known defects and evaluate severity to discuss with Testing Manager
- Project Management
- Escalating any design/development work that is at risk because of resource constraints, design gaps, etc.
- Manage workstream SME calendars and meeting requests
- Maintain/update workstream status and progress reports
- Present design decisions (where required) to Design Authority Committee
- Business Requirements
- Assist team with drafting business requirements documents (BRDs) and other related technical design specifications
Skills/Experience Required:
- Functional and technical experience with at least 2 or 3 full lifecycle Workday Financials implementations
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in working with Agile / Scrum teams for writing user stories and iterative development (sprints)
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in working with Waterfall/SDLC project methodology
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience as a business analyst, IT business systems analyst, insurance data analyst or similar role
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivation and prioritisation of tasks & actions to hit deadlines according to business priorities
- Proficient in the use of MS Office products
- Able and willing to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Any experience in environments with live Workday Integrations
- Any experience working with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) tool for Workday functional web service tasks
Please note that this role will require you to be on-site in London for a minimum of 3 days per week.
