My client is an Independent Financial Advisory firm, specialising in Financial Planning and Wealth Management, providing financial solutions that are tailored to the clients' needs.
We are seeking a Junior / Apprentice Investment / IFA Administrator to join the existing Administrative teams. You will support both the Directors and the Advisers in day‑to‑day administrative tasks, including direct contact with clients, 3rd parties and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Process and monitor all new business applications for Directors and Financial Advisers, liaising with clients and product providers.
- Maintain a strict diary system for all cases and provide regular updates on case development.
- Ensure all files are compliant with AML (Anti‑money Laundering) requirements.
- Support Directors and Advisers with client valuations, key client reviews, and collation/completion of required documentation.
- Prepare meeting materials, manage general servicing inquiries, and coordinate policy and contract alterations.
- Coordinate promotions and client mailers, handle document scanning, and take calls from product providers and clients.
Qualifications
- Ideally, you have a couple of years of office administration experience in any sector and wish to build a career within Financial Services and Financial Advice.
- You will receive training and development in investments, pensions, ISA, and OEICS.
- Good GCSE and/or A‑level grades (minimum) and strong English and Maths skills are required.
