As an Electrician at Lime Heating, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems across domestic and commercial properties. You will represent Lime Heating on site, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in domestic and commercial properties, including wiring, distribution boards, lighting, controls, and associated equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with current Wiring Regulations and relevant electrical standards.
- Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
- Perform inspection and testing procedures in line with current regulations.
- Install and test emergency lighting systems.
- Deliver smart LED lighting schemes and energy-efficient upgrades.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly and accurately.
- Collaborate with colleagues, contractors, and customers to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Provide accurate material lists and support the quotation process when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation including certificates, reports, and records.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety standards and maintain clean, professional work areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service, communicating clearly and professionally at all times.
- Proven experience working as an electrician across domestic and commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industry best practices.
- Confidence in inspection, testing, and certification.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification or equivalent such as City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2 or City and Guilds 2357.
- Completed Electrical Installation Apprenticeship.
- ECS Card.
- City and Guilds th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent Inspection and Testing qualification.
- Valid JIB Card.
- City and Guilds 2396 Design and Verification.
- ECS Gold Card.
- IPAF Licence.
- Experience with energy-efficient systems and sustainable electrical solutions.
- Additional specialist certifications such as fire alarms or control systems.
