As an Art Tutor, this is a unique and exciting opportunity to join our growing Trust and to help create an exceptional learning experience for learners within our school. You will be responsible for delivering and developing the appropriate Vocational curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement teaching and learning practices to raise student standards and progress
- To deliver high quality lessons enabling students to make accelerated progress
- To assess all students’ work, progress, and attainment
- To organise the workshop and classroom, its resources, student groupings and displays to provide a stimulating learning environment
- To develop high quality teaching materials and schemes of learning
- To direct the work of any allocated teaching assistants
- To prepare pupils to complete accreditation where appropriate
- To jointly develop (with SLT) the progression map, programs of study and schemes of work for the given curriculum area
- To support with enrichment clubs relevant to specific tutor role
The post holder will be part of our teaching and learning function and play a large part in delivering a high-quality education to the learners who attend our schools.
If you are passionate about SEND and have the energy, drive and desire to motivate our learners and ensure they achieve the best possible outcomes, this could be the right job for you. This is a fixed term contract, maternity cover for 2 terms and is based at our William Morris site.
