LiMAR are a market leader in Design and Manufacture of Downhole Well Intervention Products for the Global Oil & Gas Industry. We are expanding our facility in Oulton, Lowestoft and looking to fulfil the forementioned positions within our dynamic team.
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist / Setter / Operator who has some experience in machining using Lathes, Mills and CNC, reading and understanding engineering drawings. You will be responsible for the setup and operation of state-of-the-art CNC machinery, working on a variety of projects, contributing to the manufacture of cutting-edge products. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of materials and gain experience with the latest technologies. CNC Machinist Requirements:
- Experience in operating CNC Machining Centres (MAZAK beneficial)
- Knowledge of reading/understanding of engineering drawings and inspection equipment
- A relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship
- To be able to work independently and as part of a team with good communication skills
DUTIES:
- Setting up and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Loading and unloading materials
- Performing quality control checks using measuring equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Identifying and reporting any machine malfunctions
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
SALARY: Listed salary includes Shift Allowance. There is also Overtime Opportunity + Annual Bonus + Benefits (On-Site Parking, Cycle to Work Scheme, Healthcare, Pension and In-House on the Job Training)
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 Hours per week - 8 Hour Shifts - Weekly rotation between day and evening shifts with an early finish on Fridays
