LIM Independent Living and Community Care Service Ltd. is recruiting Care Worker to join our dedicated care team, supporting elderly and vulnerable adults in their own homes.

This is a rewarding, community-based role involving travel between clients’ homes to provide person centred care, companionship and practical support. You will play an important role in helping individuals maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.

No previous care experience is required, as full paid training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to clients’ homes to provide high-quality care and support.
• Provide personal care and support with medication, where required.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and household tasks.
• Promote dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with clients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and timely care records.
• Report any concerns relating to clients’ health, safety or wellbeing.
• Follow company policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car is helpful but not essential.
• Willingness to travel between clients’ homes.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and professional approach.
• Caring, compassionate and positive attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous care experience is helpful but not essential.
