What we're after:
Location: This is a hybrid role, with a mix between working approximately 1-2 days a week (or more if you prefer) in our beautiful central London office (Goodge Street) and working from home.

Your place at the Lily's Kitchen Table:
We're looking for a commercially focused Trading Manager to execute digital trading strategies which deliver performance through a combination of data-driven decision making, thorough planning and effective management skills. You will work cross-functionally to ensure customer experience and brand guidelines are maintained and positively contribute to the build and execution of our website development roadmap linking to positive progress against KPIs. You will have line management responsibility for a Digital Trading Executive and oversee their learning and development, working together you will deliver a strong plan for success.
How will I make a difference? You will:
- Forecast, implement and analyse trading plans which deliver against channel and business KPIs
- Monitor and evaluate website performance and identify opportunities for optimisation driving for continued improvement of conversion and customer experience
- Build and manage trade forecasts and lead cross functional working groups to ensure performance with attention to continuous refinement and improvement of processes
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Systems teams to ensure product management and availability
- Provide insight and product performance evaluation as part of product launch and development cycles
- Manage the Digital Trading Executive to deliver against the trading plan and help them prioritise areas of opportunity to contribute to traffic driving activity and commercial performance
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure content showcases Brand and Seasonal campaigns and build insight and recommendations for optimisation
- Collaborate with website developers to build and deliver a roadmap of improvements with associated testing plans
- Build customer journeys to support acquisition and retention strategies, reporting on key metrics and informing on opportunities to leverage merchandising and content
- Maintain knowledge of subscription platform and work with CRM on key retention strategies
- Support Customer Care team with troubleshooting queries and own any associated website live or dev ops support requirements
- Lead technical SEO roadmap with agency, with support from Digital Trading Executive working on keyword and content optimisation and leading on technical updates necessary to improve rankings and drive website traffic
- Be an ambassador for our social and environmental credentials – seeking opportunities to drive our 'proper goodness' content to consumers about our hard work in this area and working with like-minded partners/suppliers

Desired skills and experience:
- 5+ years experience in eCommerce trading and merchandising, including significant D2C experience
- Commercial mindset and ability to identify opportunities and risks and translate into trading plans
- Experience in Subscription platforms essential
- Strong analytical skills and able to interpret data and trends to inform strategic decision making
- Experience of running UAT on website development projects
- Confident building cross-functional relationships and influencing stakeholders
- Team player with strong communication and presentation skills
- Highly organised with attention to detail and project management capabilities
- Able to work in fast paced, continually adapting environment with moving projects and targets
