Where you’ll work: You will be based from our Buxton Office and will be expected to be on call 1 in every 4 weeks (an additional £1,376 per year). This role would be perfect for a Care Coordinator looking to take the next step in their career or a Deputy Manager who is looking to progress into a Registered Manager.

The role of Deputy Manager: As a Deputy Manager, you will look after the day-to-day needs of our customers, whilst showing compassion, care and commitment to having a positive impact on their lives. You will work with a team of like-minded individuals, all with a desire to ensure that our customers are comfortable in their own homes. You will manage and supervise the Care Coordinators based in the Buxton Office. There is an expectation that in partnership with the Registered Manager, you will grow the team allowing for increased management reports. Participation in the on-call rota system is essential, which will include weekends. You will assist the Registered Manager in Buxton in the operational management of a high-quality support service for people with Domiciliary care needs in Derbyshire. You will directly line manage, mentor and supervise staff working within the Buxton and Derbyshire service. As the services develop within the Buxton and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the supervision of staff in the growth areas, with a maximum of six to nine reports.

You will ensure that service users receive individualized person-centred support, which enables them to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community and to develop their abilities as fully as possible. You will be expected to work to the LilyRose Business Plan for the service and collaborate with the Local Authority, Social Services and other stakeholders. You will ensure that CQC care standards are met and the highest level of customer service is provided.

What we're looking for: An experienced Care Coordinator looking to take the next step in their career.

You Will Need:

  • 2 to 3 years experience as a Care Coordinator;
  • NVQ level 3/4 in Health and Social Care;
  • Willingness to work to NVQ level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care;
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, care standards, and compliance;
  • Flexibility to support service needs (including on-call).

Benefits:

  • Performance bonus ranging from £125 to £500 paid quarterly (a potential annual addition of £500 to £2000 pa);
