Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Team Administrator to support the dynamic and fast-paced needs of the team of a Tech start up and growing. This is a new role requiring someone who thrives in managing multiple priorities to tight deadlines and has a genuine passion for working within a technology platform. The successful candidate will have exposure to marketing, business development and will be involved in all areas of the business.
Location: Manchester. Fully Remote
Salary: £17 to £22 per hour
Contract: Temp to perm
This is an exciting new role that presents an incredible opportunity for someone to join a brand new start up supporting 1 Founder (based East Coast of America) and 2 Founders based in Manchester. As administrator you will act as the right hand to the team, managing their schedule, prioritising tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
Admin Responsibilities:- General Administrative Duties: Provide support with marketing duties, updating the membership site, sales administration, handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Processing invoices and reconciliation.
- Travel & Logistics: Processing expenses.
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare documents, ensure all materials are ready for meetings and locations arranged. Track follow-up actions from meetings and ensure timely completion.
- Other Duties as Required: Take on any ad-hoc tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business and support the founders across different time zones.
- Proven experience of working to tight deadlines within the Tech sector ideally.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in tech based platforms ie HubSpot (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with cloud-based tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoom).
- Proven 3 years + experience as an Administrator within a client facing, start up or tech sector.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
