Transforming the lives of children with Lily Residential Services: Join Us as a Registered Manager.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual who will bring fresh skills and perspectives to further strengthen our management team. This role is vital in enhancing the collective strengths, leadership capabilities, and professional diversity within the group. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to our collaborative and values‑led culture, helping to drive innovation, consistency, and high standards across our services.
The Registered Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of running the Home, to ensure young people are cared for, supported, safe and prepared to move on to independent living. As the manager you will ensure that high levels of emotional and physical support, appropriate activities, comfortable accommodation and the service of keyworkers are planned, provided and applied in accordance with the home’s Statement of Purpose.
Overall, as the manager you will be aspirational, go above and beyond in the care provided to children and ensure that all practice promotes a sense of belonging for the children. As the manager you will be registered with Ofsted and required to meet the level of competence set out in the regulations and standards for a residential children’s home manager. You will drive forward the Quality Standards and aspire for outstanding service at all times.
The home is in Weymouth and is a 1 bedded children’s home for children and/or young people aged between 9 – 17 years old, in a 2:1 capacity. We’re looking for someone with high-level people management and leadership skills, and ideally someone who has held strategic responsibility before, not just operational experience. You must have a track record of delivering GOOD or OUTSTANDING Ofsted outcomes, and be able to demonstrate how you’ve actively contributed to improving standards in their previous settings.
You’ll also need to show strong ability in assessment and placement transition planning, as well as planned safeguarding management practices – not just reactive knowledge, but proactive, structured approaches.
What we offer:
- Day off for your birthday (after passing probation).
- 28 days annual leave.
