About the Role
A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by strong Maintenance Assistants has come to the forefront. This is going to be any engineer's dream to work in this state-of-the-art, fully automated, fast-paced factory. They have recently invested into the site and it's a great place to work for any Maintenance Assistant who wants to develop their career both technically and/or into management.
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
Sector - Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Assistant:
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Requirements for the Maintenance Assistant:
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
- Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
- Experience with working on PLC's, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs.
- Be able to modify on PLC programmes as a minimum.
- Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced industrial factory.
