Marketing at LILT
Marketing at LILT is our strategic growth engine. We’re responsible for taking LILT out into the world, shaping how people understand our brand, our product, and the category we’re building. We’re expert storytellers who work across the entire funnel, from awareness to conversion to expansion. We partner closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive pipeline, accelerate adoption, and position LILT as the market leader in enterprise AI translation.
The team is led by our CMO, based in London after a decade in Silicon Valley, where they scaled their last startup from zero to $100M ARR and a $3B acquisition. We’re building a world-class team in both London and San Francisco — and we’re looking for ambitious marketers who want to grow fast, learn from seasoned operators, and help shape the future of AI and language. Whether it’s crafting compelling narratives, launching new capabilities, running high-impact campaigns, or engaging our community, we move fast, think big, and care deeply about quality. If you’re excited about AI, language, and building a category-defining company, you’ll thrive here.
Where You’ll Work
This role is based in our London office, where we’re building a fast-growing hub of marketing, sales, and product talent. We work in a hybrid model, with team members in the office 3 days per week to collaborate, brainstorm, and build together. You’ll get the energy and creativity of in-person work, combined with the flexibility to focus from home when needed. Authorization to work in the UK is required for this position.
What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to lead our field and event marketing strategy across Europe. This is a high-impact role focused on driving pipeline, building brand presence, and deepening relationships with our target accounts through unforgettable in-person and digital experiences. As the foundational field marketer in Europe, you’ll be responsible for building the program from the ground up. You’ll need to think strategically and execute flawlessly and own everything from campaign planning and event execution to performance tracking. And as the program proves its success, you’ll be in a position to hire and scale the team.
You will:
- Build and own LILT’s Europe-wide field marketing strategy, aligned with sales and marketing goals
- Plan and execute LILT’s participation in key industry conferences, trade shows, and partner events in London and across Europe
- Design and run custom experiences such as dinners or roundtables tailored to enterprise buyers and champions
- Introduce webinar and virtual event programs as part of the overall strategy
- Manage the European field marketing budget, ensuring strong ROI through strategic sponsorships, partnerships, and vendor selection
- Collaborate with the sales and ADR team to drive attendance to events, optimize the post-event follow-up and align the events strategy with sales goals
- Align field marketing efforts with broader brand campaigns, product launches, and demand generation programs
- Track, analyze, and report on event success including pipeline contribution, attendee engagement, and sales follow-up
This is an opportunity to build and own the field marketing function in Europe, make a visible impact on pipeline and brand presence, and grow into a people leadership role as the program scales.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of B2B field or event marketing experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS
- Proven success running both large-scale industry events and intimate, high-touch executive experiences
- Strong project management and budgeting skills — able to deliver multiple programs on time and on budget
- Regional experience — familiarity with European markets, customer expectations, and event best practices
- A strong partner to sales — collaborative, responsive, and focused on pipeline and revenue impact
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools
- Excellent communication, vendor management, and stakeholder alignment skills
- Self-starter mindset — comfortable with ownership, ambiguity, and building new programs from scratch
- A data-informed approach to measuring success and driving continuous improvement
Our Story
LILT was founded in 2015 by two researchers from Google, Stanford, and Berkeley who shared a belief: everyone should be able to access information, regardless of language. While working on Google Translate, they saw that even the world’s most advanced tools weren’t being used inside enterprises. The quality just wasn’t there. So they set out to build something better. From the start, LILT has been a machine learning company, investing early in large language models, human-in-the-loop systems, and now agentic AI. As these technologies evolve, they’re unlocking new possibilities in translation — not just faster and cheaper, but smarter, more brand-aware, and deeply integrated into enterprise workflows. With AI innovation accelerating and enterprise demand growing, the next phase of LILT’s journey is just beginning.
