LILT is changing how the world communicates and is leading that transformation. LILT is the Agentic AI platform for enterprise translation. Our mission is to make the world’s information accessible by helping organizations translate content faster, more accurately, and more cost-effectively without compromising on brand, voice, or quality.
We work with global leaders like Intel, Canva, ASICS, and the U.S. Government to power multilingual experiences across websites, product interfaces, documentation, support, and more. LILT combines cutting-edge AI with expert human feedback to deliver translation that’s not just technically correct, it’s culturally and contextually precise.
Marketing at LILT is our strategic growth engine. We’re responsible for taking LILT out into the world, shaping how people understand our brand, our product, and the category we’re building. We’re expert storytellers who work across the entire funnel, from awareness to conversion to expansion. We partner closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive pipeline, accelerate adoption, and position LILT as the market leader in enterprise AI translation.
This role is based in our London office, where we’re building a fast-growing hub of marketing, sales, and product talent. We work in a hybrid model, with team members in the office 3 days per week to collaborate, brainstorm, and build together. You’ll get the energy and creativity of in-person work, combined with the flexibility to focus from home when needed. Authorization to work in the UK is required for this position.
We’re looking for a Director of Product Marketing to lead how we position LILT to the world. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of AI, language, and global enterprise growth, reporting directly to the CMO. You’ll own the entire product marketing function, from messaging and positioning to launches, enablement, and go-to-market strategy. You’ll be the bridge between Product, Sales, and Marketing, making sure everything we build is brought to market with clarity, confidence, and commercial impact.
You will be responsible for:
- Positioning and Messaging: Develop compelling narratives that clearly differentiate LILT in a crowded and fast-moving AI space. Ensure messaging resonates across commercial and federal markets.
- Launch Strategy: Plan and execute product and feature launches. Own the go-to-market process in partnership with Product, Growth, and Communications teams.
- Sales Enablement: Build the content, tools, and training that give Sales and ADRs the confidence to win. Continuously refine materials based on field feedback.
- Persona and Market Insights: Deepen our understanding of buyers, user segments, and competitors. Use insights to inform messaging and go-to-market strategy.
- Thought Leadership: Drive content, analyst engagement, event participation, and speaking opportunities to grow LILT’s visibility and influence in the market.
This role is ideal for someone who’s strategic, analytical, and hands-on. Someone who’s ready to elevate product marketing into a key growth engine for the company.
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of B2B product marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role at a SaaS, AI, or enterprise tech company.
- Proven success developing positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that drive revenue and product adoption.
- A builder’s mindset — entrepreneurial, collaborative, and energized by turning ambiguity into clarity and results.
- Data-driven approach — comfortable using insights to shape strategy, track performance, and iterate for continuous improvement.
- Experience defining the strategy, goals, and roadmap for a high-impact product marketing function.
- Proven ability to hire, lead, and mentor a growing team while still operating hands-on when needed.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills — able to partner with executives across Product, Sales, Growth, and Customer Success.
- Executive presence and communication skills — able to distill complex ideas, influence senior stakeholders, and represent LILT externally.
LILT was founded in 2015 by two researchers from Google, Stanford, and Berkeley who shared a belief: everyone should be able to access information, regardless of language. While working on Google Translate, they saw that even the world’s most advanced tools weren’t being used inside enterprises. The quality just wasn’t there. So they set out to build something better.
From the start, LILT has been a machine learning company, investing early in large language models, human-in-the-loop systems, and now agentic AI. As these technologies evolve, they’re unlocking new possibilities in translation — not just faster and cheaper, but smarter, more brand-aware, and deeply integrated into enterprise workflows.
With AI innovation accelerating and enterprise demand growing, the next phase of LILT’s journey is just beginning.
We offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward high performance and support your long-term growth.
- Compensation and Equity: Market-aligned salary plus meaningful equity in a fast-growing company.
- Time Off: Generous paid time off, plus company holidays to rest and recharge.
- Retirement: Pension scheme contributions to help you plan for the future.
