The Role

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Business Support Assistant (Reception) to join our administrative team. In this role, you will be the heart of the school’s front office—acting as the first point of contact for visitors, guests, and staff members seeking assistance. Working under the guidance of the Office Manager, you will balance a warm, courteous welcome with efficient administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception & Hospitality: Provide a professional, friendly welcome to all visitors, manage the switchboard and incoming calls, and assist staff with daily enquiries.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Office Manager with essential admin duties, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
  • First Aid: Undertake first aid duties (training provided) to support student and staff well-being.
  • Special Projects: Lead and manage specific designated areas of responsibility as guided by the Office Manager.
  • Safeguarding: Maintain a strict regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, consistently following all school and Local Authority child protection policies.
