What You'll Do

As a Residential Childcare Worker, you'll

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with children.
  • Provide therapeutic, child-centred care in a safe home environment.
  • Support children with daily routines, education and social development.
  • Encourage positive behaviour through consistent boundaries.
  • Work alongside therapists, social workers, schools and other professionals.
  • Safeguard children and promote their wellbeing at all times.
