Hours: Full‑time (37.5 hrs/wk) 8:30 am‑4:30 pm Mon–Fri with 30 min lunch break.
Holiday: 26 Days paid annual leave plus bank holidays.
Basic Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 based on track record in ecommerce packaging sector.
Commission: 2% uncapped on first 12‑month spend of self‑generated profitable new business (1% if handed‑over a pre‑priced opportunity to close).

Expectation: Minimum 20× daily dials resulting in “Meaningful Sales Interactions”. Minimum of 2× face‑to‑face pre‑booked meetings per week. NO order processing admin or incoming call handling whatsoever.

Experience: A proven track‑record in senior‑level packaging sales to internet retailers is essential. The candidate’s ambition & determination must rival our directors.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Research new clients, products, markets & exhibitions/events on a national basis.
- Prospect/cold‑call using own initiative, industry knowledge & best practices (e.g. LinkedIn Navigator).
- Persuade new prospects (20,000+ qualified) and lapsed customers (4,000+ qualified) to place physical orders and/or accept a meeting to establish packaging needs.
- Maximise profitable opportunities by understanding client operation savings vs price paying.
- Increase company participation in tendered packaging opportunities.
- Close opportunities with values ranging £5,000 – £1,000,000.
- Route‑optimised national visits (min 2, max 4) for days on the road with first visit from 8:30 am.
- Generate & attend meetings (online or on‑site) supported by Outlook/Zoom/Teams/Calendly.
- Log calls efficiently (max 100 characters) ensuring CRM (Shuttleworth) well‑maintained.
- Attend exhibitions & relevant training courses to develop knowledge, techniques, and skills.
- Adhere company policies & procedures related to Health & Safety, Quality & Management.
